Preparation Time

Majority of units will be ready for local pick up or shipment within 48 hours of receiving your order. If a component is not in stock (rare cases), please allow 4 to 6 business days for pick-up or shipment.

A shipping label will be created within 48 hours of your order. Contact will be made in the case a component is not in stock.

Payment

We accept PayPal and Amazon Pay because of the protection they offer to both the buyer and seller. If you would like to pay with credit or debit card, please select the PayPal payment option on the checkout page and choose 'Guest Checkout' once forwarded to PayPal. If you prefer to avoid PayPal and Amazon, we are able to charge you credit or debit card payment directly as well.

Cash, cashiers check, and bank transfer payments receive a 3% discount from the total price.

If you wish to pay directly with credit card, please contact us. We will create a custom invoice that will provide the option to pay with credit or debit card.

Paypal and Amazon are strict with their policies for local pick-ups. If you would like to pay by PayPal or Amazon and pick-up locally, the following applies:

PayPal normally uses tracking information as proof of item receipt. Since that information will not be available for a local pick-up, a statement must be prepared, "I, 'name', have received the item from ZWorkstations.com 'item description and invoice #' on 'date'" followed by the signature of the person who paid for the item. We also require a copy of the photo ID of the person who paid matching the name on the statement. This is solely for record purposes if the situation arises to prove the person who paid is the person who picked up.

If the person who paid is different from the person who is picking up, the document must also state, "I, 'name', authorize 'name' to pick up said items that were purchased from ZWorkstations.com.". A copy of the photo ID of the person picking up will also be required.

Shipping

We welcome local pick-ups. When you pick-up, we will have your HP Z Workstation connected to a display so you can view the specifications and briefly test it.

Your HP Z Workstation will be shipped in double-walled brown boxes 22x28x12 with foam specifically manufactured for the Z Workstation. The packaging system is molded for the Z Workstation, thus your system will arrive at your front door safely.

Based on our experience, we have found that UPS has a higher percentage of damaged packages. We use FedEx since we have found them to be a bit more caring with packages.

Typical shipping duration via FedEx Ground within the US:

  • West Coast: 1-2 business days
  • Central States: 3-4 business days
  • East Coast: 4-5 business days

Shipping to Canada:

  • FedEx Ground (4-5 business days): $150
  • FedEx Express (1-3 business days): $300

Shipping to all other countries:

  • FedEx Express (2-3 business days): $400

Warranty

We offer one year warranty on the HP Z840, Z640, and Z440 workstations. For extended warranty options, please contact us as the cost will depend on your configuration.

The warranty period begins from the day FedEx tracking information displays the item has been delivered. Our goal is to make support simple and quick to prevent hassle and minimize downtime. For example, if you are having a problem with the hard drive, we will send you a brand new replacement hard drive with the operating system of your choice preloaded. This way, we will not have to ship the HP Z Workstation back and forth since hard drive replacement on the system is user friendly.

Rest assured that each unit is thoroughly tested prior to shipment. From our past experience of selling hundreds of workstations, we have a 2% fault rate. This is typically a faulty memory module or hard drive. In this rare 2% occasion, we immediately send out replacement parts or do whatever necessary to resolve the issue. Even if your purchase is past the warranty period, we are here to help and find a solution to any problem that may arise.

Support

If you are have a problem with the HP Z Workstation after the warranty period, we offer phone and email support for the duration of you owning the system. We have a tremendous amount of experience, thus can easily diagnose issues - typically faster and easier than HP Technical Support. If your Z Workstation is out of warranty, we will help figure out the problem, help you in locating the replacement component or offer the replacement component directly at cost, and even provide replacement instructions.

We purchase our HP Z Workstations direct from authorized HP resellers. The components we stock are primarily new. Furthermore, we test our systems thoroughly after the customization. We are confident our Z Workstations will perform fine for years to come. We test the units for about 1.5 hours. In the rare case there is an issue, it will typically occur within the first day or two of starting to stress the unit. If the unit performs fine for the first few days, it will be fine for years to come. This is because if there is a faulty component installed, it will quickly become apparent. Otherwise, the Z Workstations are resilient systems and will run strong.

We stand by our product 100%. We sell only HP Z Workstations, so it's what we deal with all day, every day. When it comes to expertise in the product, nobody else can compete.

Returns

We offer a 14-day return period from the day FedEx tracking information displays the item has been delivered. For DOA (dead-on-arrival) units, please contact us to create a RMA (return merchandise authorization). For DOA returns, we will provide a prepaid FedEx shipping label.

For all other returns, an 8% restocking fee will be applied. For these returns, buyer to pay round trip shipping costs.

Returns sent without prior notice and RMA will be refused.
